BTech Admission 2022 in India is done through any national, state, or university/institute level entrance exam. Deemed universities conduct their respective entrance examinations at the university level to shortlist students. However, there are few colleges that offer direct admission on a merit basis. Candidates must sit for an entrance exam such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, WBJEE, etc to seek admission to the BTech course.

For BTech admission, most of the colleges/universities accept scores of national level entrance exams such as JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. NTA releases the official notification for JEE Main exam. Admission to IITs and NITs is granted based on the scores obtained by a candidate in the JEE Main entrance exam. The registration process for several university-level BTech entrance exams is now open. VITEEE registration has begun on December 02, 2021, and is open till May 30, 2022. To seek BTech admission to the VIT campuses, candidates must qualify for VITEEE.

Students wishing to pursue the BTech courses must fulfill the eligibility requirements for the course, apart from this one should be aware of the various specializations such as mechanical engineering, software engineering etc. it offers, top colleges, and the admission process for the year 2022. BTech is a 4-year undergraduate engineering course that helps students to gain knowledge about the existing technologies and research for the future technologies
